Blank templates are edit worksheets, not a wipe. Empty fields are ignored on import — fill in the values you want, then use Replace all or Merge in the Database Editor.

Global database only. Import via Club → Database Editor (Replace all or Merge). These files never touch an in-progress save.

Blank templates keep player/club IDs but clear editable fields. The game ignores empty values on import, so fill in only what you want to change before importing.

Save-game JSON (career-only edits) can only be exported from inside a career. Custom portrait image bytes are device-local and are not included.
